Dr. Dena” was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia. She completed her undergraduate degree at Ursinus College. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Illinois. She then completed her two-year pediatric dental training at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.
Dr. Dena met her husband, “Dr. Troy”, while in dental school. He relocated back to Philadelphia with her once they both graduated. In their downtime, they love trying new foods and new restaurants, as well as traveling to new destinations together. Dr. Dena and Dr. Troy’s birthdays are 2 days apart, so each year they like to visit a new place to celebrate!
Dr. Dena is a big animal lover. She started adopting pets in college and now they have a fur family of 4 – 2 dogs, Sasha and Noah, and 2 cats, Bubba and Jax. On the weekend, no matter what is on the agenda at home, Dr. Dena can be seen with 4 little shadows following her around the house.
